Australia · Darwin & Kakadu National Park
Marchés du coucher de soleil de Mindil Beach
Darwin's iconic dry-season market — Asian street food, crafts and live music as the sun sets over the Timor Sea.
About Mindil Beach Sunset Markets
Twice a week through Darwin's dry season, hundreds of food stalls and crafts traders set up on the lawns above Mindil Beach — and the entire city seems to come down with picnic blankets to watch the sun melt into the Timor Sea.
The food is some of the best (and best-value) in Australia: Thai, Indonesian, Indian, Sri Lankan, Filipino, Vietnamese, Greek, Brazilian — a reflection of Darwin's deeply multicultural population.
