About Uluru & The Red Centre
Uluru rises 348m from the flat red desert of Australia's centre — a single, unimaginably old sandstone monolith that has been sacred to the Anangu people for over 60,000 years.
The Red Centre is desert country, but it is far from empty. Kata Tjuṯa's 36 domes, the rim walks of Kings Canyon, and some of the darkest, clearest night skies on earth combine to create one of the most spiritual journeys any traveller can take.
