About Queenstown & Wānaka
Queenstown is a four-season alpine resort wrapped around the shores of Lake Wakatipu and crowned by the appropriately named Remarkables mountain range. It earned its 'adventure capital of the world' title honestly — commercial bungy jumping was invented here.
Just over the Crown Range sits its quieter twin, Wānaka — equally beautiful, more relaxed, and the gateway to Mount Aspiring National Park. Together they offer everything from heart-pumping adrenaline to award-winning wineries.
