About Skyline Gondola & Luge
The Skyline Gondola is the steepest cable car lift in the Southern Hemisphere — a four-minute ride that lifts you 450m above town to Bob's Peak.
The view from the top is one of the great panoramas of New Zealand: Lake Wakatipu spreading below, the jagged spine of the Remarkables to the east, and Cecil and Walter Peaks rising across the lake.
